FORT MILL, S.C. — Broad River Retail, the nation’s largest independent Ashley licensee, continued its strategic growth in May 2026 with the opening of new Ashley retail locations across Idaho, Maine, South Carolina, and Washington.
The expansion was highlighted by the grand opening of its Ashley Store and Outlet in Spokane, Washington, the largest Ashley retail location in the country. Located at 4770 N. Division St., the 101,249-square-foot store serves as an anchor tenant at the NorthTown Mall.
Broad River also cut the ribbon at its new Ashley Store in Moscow, Idaho. The 24,683-square-foot store is an anchor tenant at Palouse Place, a shopping center situated along the Pullman-Moscow Highway retail corridor, which connects the neighboring college communities. Broad River Retail celebrated the openings of both the Spokane and Moscow Ashley Stores on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Broad River Retail expanded its Ashley footprint in South Carolina with the grand opening of its Ashley Store and Outlet in Easley on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Located at 5149 Calhoun Memorial Hwy, the 41,479-square-foot dual-concept location is the company’s 10th Ashley store in South Carolina and fifth in the Upstate region, joining existing locations in Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood, and Spartanburg.

After more than 15 years, Ashley returned to Maine, with Broad River Retail opening a new 44,900-square-foot Ashley Store and Outlet at Jetport Plaza in South Portland on Friday, May 22, 2026. The dual-concept store is Broad River Retail’s 38th retail location, extending the company’s presence into northern New England.
The company also recently opened distribution centers in Airway Heights, Washington, and South Portland, Maine, supporting operations across the Inland Northwest and northern New England regions.
The new Ashley retail locations feature Ashley’s 7.0 showroom concept, an open, lifestyle-focused format designed to showcase complete home collections across bedroom, dining room, living room, and youth categories. Stores also feature Ashley Luxe, the brand’s luxury furniture collection, and dedicated Sleep Shops carrying products from brands including Tempur-Pedic, Purple, Nectar, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, and Bedgear.
