FORT MILL, S.C. — Broad River Retail proudly announces the promotion of Manny Rodrigues to President and Chief Operating Officer.
Rodrigues joined Broad River Retail in 2014 as Director of Talent and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Capital in 2015. He became a partner in 2016, gaining an ownership stake in Broad River Retail. Rodrigues was named Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Over the past decade, Rodrigues has put his imprint on helping to develop and nurture BRR’s award-winning culture and build a world-class team

Charlie Malouf, who was named President and Chief Executive Officer of BRR in 2015, will continue to serve as Broad River Retail’s CEO.

Since the management buyout in June 2018, Malouf and Rodrigues have led Broad River Retail through a transformative era of growth.
Their strategic partnership and leadership have driven the company to expand its workforce, open several new locations, complete numerous showroom renovations and relocations, triple its distribution centers, and enter new markets. Most recently, they announced Broad River’s forthcoming expansion to Spokane, Washington, marking another pioneering step in the company’s continued journey.
Today, Broad River oversees more than 1.1 million square feet of combined retail and distribution space.
Along the way, Broad River has earned multiple accolades, including being named National Furniture Retailer of the Year by IHFRA, recognized as one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in both the Charlotte Metro region and South Carolina, and named one of the Best Places to Work three years in a row by Furniture Today.
